About a year ago I posted information about the launch of a new stem cell therapy for dogs ( Vet-Stem ). Since the launch Vet-Stem has treated more that 1800 dogs and more than 5,000 animals total. Vet-stem also recently announced that they will now be offering a cell culturing service.

Hey animal people! Vet gave him special food and pain meds and things seemed to resolve. Vet said he may have a UTI and he does have a 1 cm stone. I got antibiotics for the infection, but the vet said most people go right to surgery for stones although it’s possible we could flush it out with food.

its happened multiple times where i’ll be talking about how my cat has a vet appointment, someone says “oh no, is he okay?”. I have a family dog that we take yearly for checkups and i bring my cat annually too. when i tell them its just a checkup they’re surprised. i guess some people only take their pets when there’s an issue?

calling all reddit vets or just smart people, i take my cats collar off before we go to bed and i took it off and as i was petting her, i felt these bumps. There are like two spots of them and I don’t want to waste money to the vet. I put a flashlight on it and they are red. They are on her neck, right by her collar.

Ocala, Florida This is Sassy she had been brought into a local vet's office in Georgia, the owner wanted to euthanize her due to just not wanting Sassy anymore, due to owner being pregnant, that's it nothing else! Well the vet refused to euthanize a healthy dog. Sassy was posted on reddit & found a home.

I found this bird outside my house, it seemed like it couldn’t fly or walk anymore, so I took it to the vet. Vet suggested I feed it with vitamins for a week, but my issue is it can’t even get up, and if it tries then it struggles then falls. It’s a sea bird, not a seagull, I think it might be a Caspian Gull.

When we took her to the vet last to tell them the anxiety meds made it worse and she’s still not eating unless she’s on a very expensive steroid he said that there’s nothing physically wrong with her.
