Apparently, there is a lot of argument out there than animal experimentation is even good for humans. Many times tests fail. Or vice versa.

I have been rescuing animals, both wild and domestic, since I was a child. I look at the photo, and am enraged by how cruel and callous human beings can be. I look at these birds, and am enraged by how cruel and callous human beings can be. There is no moral ambiguity here. It sickens me. Is it the fault of the cats?

On Humane Societies and Calf-Roping

Angus directed me to a story about the Calgary Stampede (rodeo) and the Calgary and Vancouver Humane Societies which had me asking: Whose side are they on? The Calgary Humane Society works with the Stampede to make sure the animals are safe (and by the way that's impossible if the animals are being used in the rodeo.
