Public accommodations include government buildings, stores, hotels, transportation hubs, hospitals, schools, restaurants, etc. My impression is that it is a fairly safe area and families are a common sight on weekends, as are school groups. Pets are not allowed, nor are joggers, runners, or bicyclists.
