Keep finding decapitated mice/rats under car

None of my neighbors have cats and I'm only aware of one dog owner blocks away. Lots of squirrels, chipmunks, deer, rabbits. I have never once seen a cat anywhere in my neighborhood. or even this city for that matter. We do have a possum and a raccoon that live somewhere on the property. but that's pretty much it for mammals.

They took dogs to Australia, chickens across the Pacific, rabbits to England, horses to the New World, and then brought potatoes back. To control the rabbit a new wave of species were brought here, and much like the song about the woman eating the spider to get the fly it didn’t end well.

Week 31: Visits to Hart Mountain, Malheur and the surrounding areas.

Two full days at Hart Mountain Wildlife Refuge, three days at Dog Lake, and a short visit to Upper Cottonwood Lake brought back many great memories, in addition to a nice list of birds. Then, to finish the week, we visited the famous, and not necessarily for all the right reasons, Malhuer Wildlife Refuge. The bunny got away.
