For longest lists, go there in May when migrants are still passing while the local breeders are active and visible. At the end of the causeway and up Mt. Devas , one Cirl Bunting disappeared in the foliage, followed by a Mistle Thrush.

All of these counties have migrant traps that can be very productive in fall, whether you are looking for western migrants or those of a more unexpected variety (i.e. Santa Cruz Island (obviously), CA.
