May is a busy month for birds migrating through Shanghai – and of course, last May was completely missed due to the lockdown. While having somebody else raise your chicks like an attractive strategy to me, it is not without dangers. Also, do not smoke as it is not good for your health.

Birding a monastery: Zhaga, Western Sichuan

So, maybe not be the best place to visit for monks suffering from depression. Me, as a management consultant, I sometimes have to pretend to like challenges but of course, I would rather have some easy tasks. The monastery is quite large compared to a bird guide (Bella from Alpinebirding on the left-hand side).

And of course, the photos here show a female, as far as I can tell. Of course, this factoid should be presented with a photo of a male, not a female rosefinch. And here is the Collared Finchbill , who like me suffers from being less social than others. Of course, for the birds involved, this often leads to death.

The Florida FWC illegally killed 34 pythons and one 10-year-old pregnant Boa constrictor

The 10-year-old Boa was pregnant and had been raised by McAdam since it was a baby. Of course they would react differently. Those snakes felt the same pain & suffering that a bunch of tortoises would've felt in the same situation. The Boa was still alive & in pain 20 minutes after they crushed its skull.
