Hello, We have some big fat rats in our backyard. At night I hear things on the roof but dont know if its possums, cats, rats, who knows. I dont want to kill them. I cant purchase a cat because we are not allowed animals in our rental. They seem to know each other. They hang out in one of our trees. Ive seen 3.

it had the face of a capybara but the body and tail of a rat and about maybe a foot or less long im in the Appalachian mountains in a very rural area never seen anything like it before it killed one of my cats and hurt another (pretty sure the one that died went into shock and the one thats hurt now will be okay) other people in my town has said they (..)

The ginuea pig cages are small with very little toys same with the rat cages. They also sometimes house rats and Guinea pigs alone wich will cause depression.

Today's New York Times gives us Adam Shriver's Op-Ed " Not Grass-Fed, But at Least Pain-Free ," which presents its dilemma at the end: If we cannot avoid factory farms altogether, the least we can do is eliminate the unpleasantness of pain in the animals that must live and die on them. It would be far better than doing nothing at all.
