A crest is a “comb or tuft of feathers, fur, or skin on the head of a bird or other animal” Birds use them for display purposes – they can be either recumbent (not noticeable when not erect) or recursive (noticeable in all states). Quite a few bird species have crests. Crests are made of feathers.

What is the attraction of fur? The Seattle-based company supplies “the finest, most luxurious and exclusive ranch-raised natural black mink.” Jennifer Lopez has dealt with the same criticisms for her repeated wearing of fur products. I just don't get it. Wear your own damn skin! No way will I add Jennifer Lopez either.

According to a communique received by Bite Back , they did this in protest of Max Mara's use of furs. It was not a whim or an attempt to get attention, as the sensationalist press will say; instead this is a response to the domination, objectification and commodification of millions of animals (mink, chinchilla, fox, raccoons, etc.)

Kitten Rescue is a wonderful animal rescue organization! Founded in 1997, it has become one of the largest animal rescue groups in Los Angeles. Grace, who writes about celebrity pets on DogTipper, also tweets about dogs/cats in need of a home, as animal rescue is a subject close to her heart. After all, she currently has four fur babies– all tuxedo cats (formerly strays) from the same family!

Especially in the dry season, bands join together forming grazing herds, which can number up to 1,200 animals (although 500-600 is more normal.) Gelada communications include intense staring with raised eyebrows. Males sport a larger heart-shaped bare batch encircled by pale fur, that shows off their dominance status.
