Can the Falcons Win the Super Bowl?

Avian-themed teams simply don’t do very well in the big game. Teams named for Homo sapiens historically do better in this game. But don’t be surprised to see the Falcons falter just as the Cardinals did in 2009 and the Seahawks did in 2006 and the Eagles in 2005. But will they? Based on team name alone, NO.

I got word of the Grace’s Warbler a bit late in the game. The other image was the memory of the Ash-throated Flycatcher I’d chased in Queens in December 2009.
