We got a rescue a few years back (sasha) and she was awful. She’d stand there and pee down her leg right in front of us, couldn’t control her bowels or bladder. I ended up taking her to the vet thinking it was an anxiety issue. Every shelter we check is full. Rott/pit/black lab mix. It is ALWAYS FULL.

Veterinarians, technicians and others can volunteer to travel to Chile to help groups such as World Vets. Most organizations aiding pets in devastated areas are not-for-profit.

I volunteer for a local animal rescue so I took the dog off her hands, but since this dog hasn’t had medical care, he can’t yet be housed in a shelter as it could put both him and the other animals at risk. I can’t put him in my home because I already have a dog and a cat.
