My son (m8) and some of his neighborhood friends found a rabbit outside, and apparently it let the kids get close enough that some were able to pet it (I made it very clear to my son that I didn’t want him touching the rabbit). Any thoughts?

Rabbit Meadows is a rescue group out of Seattle. As the name suggests, they rescue rabbits, but they also rescue other small animals like ferrets, and other small rodents. They are undertaking a great project that sounds like it will be beneficial for both the sanctuary rabbits and the people who love them.

I’m now petting my rabbit Dougal, 6 more birds dead. I get that we need to look and see how humans affect birds and things we construct like glass covered skyscrapers, wind farms and cell phone towers can kill a lot of birds, but is going after yards with bird feeders the best way to go about it?
