Once a Peregrine Falcon flew above the veranda, while several distant King Vultures were soaring above the valley. Quite a few mammals come out in the open to steal bananas left for the birds. Should I add, the foliage in front of my casita (bungalow) window was regularly checked by White-collared Manakin. But I am talking birds only!
