Although I love dogs they're too dependent on humans, it's true that stray/feral dogs can form packs and survive in the wild a regular dog like a golden retriever would get eaten by a lion instantly. In my opinion dogs would be the first to go. Cats would be the next.

I used to do this when I was a kid. But now, I would give my life to protect them. Have done a bit of rescue volunteering in the past.
