There is one member of this group who works for a pharmaceutical company. She supports medical research on animals. One scene has the author entering the part of the hospital where the research animals are. This woman, who I now mentally call "THE VIVISECTOR," defended medical research. She is a practicing Catholic.

One of these colonies has now been opened to tourism after researchers studying the birds deemed visits by birders to be non-disruptive.

Then I read more about what's happening at the New Iberia Research Center in Louisiana. This is a link to a recent scandal at a primate center in Louisiana. She supports this.
