Suspect” dog or cat interactions. Most likely the bird will need to be medicated for a few days “just in case.”. So: When do you intervene?

A pet cat raising orphaned ducklings! That is, until the ducklings grow up, are released into a pond, and greet the local feral cat colony as long-lost relatives. With the latest news of finding the virus in a cat, here is an update about the H1N1 virus and how it affects your pets. Cats should be monitored. Although it was previously believed that cats were also safe, a cat in Iowa has now tested positive for the 2009 H1N1 influenza virus. Dogs are safe.

Interesting that many of the grants this place gets specifically say they can't experiment on any domesticated animals (cats and dogs I guess.). There was a poster in the lunch room with four cute animals (a dog, cat, rabbit and something else.) Tags: animal experimentation mice Guinea Pigs medical research biotech.
