FWC officers arrived at a reptile facility and forcefully killed 29 reticulated pythons, 5 Burmese pythons, and 1 pregnant Boa constrictor. The FWC then proceeded to kill the total 34 pythons using a bolt gun. After killing Coffee's pythons, the FWC then committed another criminal act.

Louis Hoppmann III has been charged with animal cruelty after hitting a gull with a baseball bat on the aptly named Folly Beach in South Carolina. He claims he was just trying to scare the birds away from his food, but that sounds like a post-hoc explanation to me… a.

The three young men returned to their friends, bragged about their exploits, and showed them trophies: metal banding tags, which members of the Pacific Rim Conservation had carefully placed on the albatrosses’ legs in order to keep track of individual birds. The young men had severed the birds’ legs in order to remove the tags.
