A quick study as I researched this post revealed that fully 37 Arizonan “specialties” are common birds right here where I live. So the only Patagonia I would choose to visit in the future, is the Patagonia to be found at the southern end of South America. Consider the striking Berylline Hummingbird.

If this was America, we might not be concerned because starlings are an invasive species, at least in North America. Researchers are wondering if the die-off might spread to other birds or even fish.
