Members of the Parulidae family are typically known to be highly migratory but there are many New World Warblers which aren’t. Forest floor/leaf litter specialists, Golden-crowned Warblers often move in pairs. There are a few more groups of 3 within our resident bird population here in T&T.

During our three weeks in Singapore we encountered many a family of Red Junglefowl- Gallus gallus in various locations. It appears that the Red Junglefowl had been breeding this year around February, because we encountered many a family of them rustling around in the leaves in March. The male Red Junglefowl was always close by, though.

They were searching for food and there was a family group of eight birds. They also move around in groups of eight and bounce around among the vegetation. White-crested Laughingthrush in the leaf litter. The White-crested Laughingthrush on the ground hopped about throwing leaves around too.

I tried to search the internet for that and for people who raise pets in farms, ranchs, etc, could never find a good answer about how it goes if you keep your pet's entire group of children together with the parent(s) and don't give them away. submitted by /u/StrongAndPowerful [link] [comments]

Fortunately for attendees, there are around 60 family groups of the charismatic and affable birds scattered throughout the Brevard County area, and many of the field trips at the festival run across them at various times. But honestly, part of that is a peanuts.

These three groups are already operating mobile veterinary clinics and other services in Haiti, and planning to go to Chile when they’re allowed in: IFAW (International Fund for Animal Welfare). Veterinarians, technicians and others can volunteer to travel to Chile to help groups such as World Vets. Contribute to rescue efforts.
