Look I keep hearing humans are horrible when we are the few people to actually punish wrong doyers. Orcas play with there food, bottled nose dolhpins just rape the women that refuses, baby killing is common, and parasite somehow evolved to be in a fishes tongue. But we arent exactly the only one to not be nice.

One study found that birds living in Botswana had elevated levels of lead in their bloodstreams during hunting season, presumably coming from lead bullets used on animals killed by hunters. A slightly more surprising threat for the vultures comes from elephants. Elephants destroy the trees the vultures live and nest in.

Not sure why they spend time in Shanghai in winter when they could come here though, but then again, I usually do not understand most of the behavior of humans either. Tiphys died either of a snakebite or of a mysterious illness but he was not killed by either a tiger or a rhinoceros. Yes, we have them in Shanghai as well.

With no permanent habitation inside its boundaries, human disturbance is low.
