Basically my roommate is a piece of s**t and and I want to get her animals taken away she's completely untrained our cats and refuses to train any animal claiming they are all trained I want to send this video to the humane society …… there is more proof than what is shown in the video but Is this enough to get my roommates animals taken away [link] (..)

The other day, Minneapolis, Minnesota passed a feral cat ordinance. So I put together a “carnival” (of sorts) of Feral Cat Ordinances and Issues that samples current events across the US. From the Star Tribune : Feral cats win a round at Minneapolis City Hall. She said she has a cat that stays indoors — unwillingly.

An enormous victory was achieved for animals this week when nearly 200 dogs and 54 cats were rescued from a North Carolina animal testing facility that closed its doors after an undercover investigation revealed apparent abuse of the animals by workers at the facility.

Mike Beebe has signed into law new animal-cruelty restrictions that make aggravated cruelty to cats, dogs and horses a felony on the first offense. Arkansas becomes the 46th state to make cruelty to animals a felony, according to the Humane Society of the United States.
