Cat health problems are prominent, but many can be avoided. There are numerous things that your vet tells you to vaccinate for, but the worst problems often come from a poor-quality diet. Cats are just as likely to get cancer, diabetes and organ failure as humans are. Cats can get diabetes, and it is often caused by a poor diet.

Vet bills are covered by the rescue. Move animals from pound to rescue/rescue to foster home/vets etc. especially before you breed. We help recruit: Fosterers who look after the animals till they get their forever home. The decision will always ultimately lie with the rescue though. Transporters , again as it says on the tin!

There’s just one thing: where to leave your cat(s) and dog(s)? For cats, there needs to be a space separate from the dogs that provides ample room for them to move around. Board with a Vet or Farm. Many vets also provide boarding services , which would be particularly ideal for pets with health issues.

And, speaking of poisons, talk to your vet before putting down any rat or ant poison, which can sicken your pet before it reaches its intended target. Make sure any fences are dug deeply enough, particularly for breeds genetically programmed for burrowing. Just keep the rules consistent in your home to avoid confusing your pet.

The vet did give me a hard time about the dogs' animal-free diets (my traditional vets don't, ironically), and my response was that unless she could show me some research that his particular type of injury needs animal protein to heal, I wasn't going to change anything. been there.

Start with easier pets – Many people don’t want to start with the responsibility of a dog or cat. Purebred or mixed breed? Try to find out what breeds are in your dogs background to help you better understand your dog’s behavior. Cats for quiet kids – I find that cats are great pets for very introverted kids.
