Lucky him, right? This is a juvenile Grey-headed Fish Eagle , unless it is another fish eagle like the Lesser (the lack of any grey head makes me doubt the identification a bit, but it seems juveniles cannot afford a grey head yet). Though he ended up dead anyway. A Crested Serpent Eagle , looking a bit ridiculous after a rain.

Head for the sea only when you fully recharge your batteries. To reach Prespa Lakes, from Niki continue through Florina, from there right for Albania and veer right for the lakes. If heading to the Kerkini, two kilometres after the border take the left turn for Serres and drive until you spot the lake on you right hand side.

Driving north along the Ionian seacoast through the city of Igoumenitsa, there is a place where the main artery takes you right, further away from the sea – follow it for 150 metres (500 ft) and then turn left just before a small stadium. I reach for my camera, only to realise that the batteries were flat.

That, and 10 days back on the way was going to be a great to recharge the batteries after a long round-the-world trip. The Pigeon Guillemot is bringing a small fish for breakfast back to the nest. Right after getting the anchor set, what to my eyes should I see, but several P urple Martins flying above the boat!

While visiting the Kakadu National Park, I was able to photograph this Rainbow Bee eater right after it had caught a dragonfly. With him guiding the way, we were able to track down this Papuan Frogmouth, right along side the river bank. Spending time in Darwin Australia, has made that our #1 spot to return to after the year was done.

Drain the Batteries: Schedule some time in the morning before work to give your pets some exercise. Lock up the doggy doors when you leave. Visual Entertainment: Cats love a good show.
