I understand that they are trying to encourage people to eat fish and other marine life that are not part of a collapsing fishery. I'm not sure how this fits into my support of animal rights though. If you are eating a fish, you are still eating a living thing. Tags: oceans marine animals. But I may not find one.

The teeth, being made of durable enamel (not common in fish) are readily discovered. As I was just starting to examine it, a famous paleontologist who happened to be passing by came over to look, and immediately determine that it was a fossil primate tooth, a very rare find indeed. Flight has evolved multiple times; it has emerged in lizards, snakes, fish, bats, maybe bats again, distant relatives of primates, regular primates, rodents, and a few other unlikely taxa, in a rather half baked fashion, not “true” flight. It has evolved in non-vertebrate animals like insects more than once.

Another animal dies at the Calgary Zoo and more questions are being raised about their practices. The fatality is one in a string of animal deaths in recent years. The zoo blamed human error for the deaths, saying it didn’t have the expertise to manage the fish and that a lack of dissolved oxygen led to the deaths.

Therefore, humans are fish with feet, right? A term like “hooved animals” is monophyletic and a perfectly sound adaptive group, except for the whales.
