First Post-COVID-19 Birding Trip: Wisconsin and Horicon NWR

I settled on Wisconsin, which is home to one of the Top 25 NWRs for Birding that I have not visited: Horicon NWR. However, I had never actually visited a WPA, and Wisconsin has several relatively close to Horicon NWR. In late June, I flew into O’Hare and drove north to Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Thus, I limited my options.

For the United States, there is also a state list. As of mid-November 2021, the Collaborative had submitted more than 4,200 checklists (up from 1,700 in 2018) and has observed 691 species in the United States (up from 618). The Collaborative has also added six states. submissions.
