Wayne Bailey-Caswell Game Land a little past 2 p.m. Certain areas within the Game Land are managed for American Woodcock and Northern Bobwhite , specifically perpetuating the secondary successional habitats they love so much. Suddenly, a golden warbler with black streaks hopped to the top of a leafed out bush right in front of me!

Though we were the first birders on the scene we were not the first people, as a youth baseball game was in full swing and there were cars and people everywhere. The baseball game ended and folks started driving out so we had to be careful not to get run over.
