I learned of the trip right as it had been delayed and made a vow that I would be on that ship. After securing our passage, I patiently waited for this once-in-a-lifetime experience to a place we have never been and lacked any knowledge of, we were in for a complete surprise. Salvin’s Prion. Our Flock to Marion was no different.

While we were making our way down the mountain we saw a large all black cat cross the road from right to left we immediately slowed down to a stop to get a good look. I can tell you from first hand experience you're not crazy. Has anyone else had a similar sighting and been laughed at or dismissed?

After my Przevalski experience, I now look up such names to check whether the person the bird is named after has made similar racist statements, or even done worse things. One being that the name is based on the bird’s soft feathers with a texture similar to a mouse’s fur. A pity I cannot draw.

It’s very important to get the right balance of protein (humans take note for your diet too)! Fats nourish the skin and make it soft, and they help with a luxurious coat and contribute to shiny fur! If the vitamins levels are deficient, your pet could experience fatigue or weakness. Not enough fat?

We were able to spend hours sitting right in amongst super-groups of 500-600 Geladas that just carried on with their daily business in total oblivion to our presence. His large pouty eyes, silky fur-coat, and silly little paws on which he fumbled all over the hay-covered kennel, lured me in like a dog to a bone.
