Best Bird of the Weekend (Last of August 2018)

The end of August, which often seems synonymous with the end of summer, evokes an entire spectrum of emotion, from sweet to bitter. This weekend, I thrilled to the wail of an Eastern Screech Owl in my neighbor’s yard; maybe I should become better friends with those neighbors in case the owl returns.

Winter Wanderland

Coming down from the emotional high we noticed our grumbling stomachs: time to eat. What is 100% true is the flight number I took into Denver: 420. We stopped at Rosie’s Diner.
