Babita Tours has many years of experience organizing tailor-made wildlife tours for private groups in this wonderful country. The forests are also home to Asiatic Elephants and Capped Langur Monkeys. We would also visit Ranthambore National Park where we hope to see more wonderful wildlife, and with luck, tiger.

But our rainy season, while bad for wildlife photography, has encouraged some beautiful non-feathered life forms. Sometimes it is the experience that makes them memorable. You could say that I don’t bird just for the birds. My recent drizzle-days produced some particularly bad bird photos. I won’t torture you with those.

An expanse of habitat as vast as Murchison Falls NP in Uganda, as excessively generous in beauty and biodiversity, permits endless ways to experience both its birds and animals. We are incredibly grateful to the Uganda Tourism Board for so generously sharing the splendor of birding and wildlife watching in the Pearl of Africa.

They are not necessarily the biggest African animals, but represented those that were considered a real hunter’s worthy prey or “game” – the African Elephant, Cape Buffalo, Black Rhinoceros, Leopard and king of the jungle, the Lion (which of course doesn’t inhabit jungle but savanna!).

There are five species of seal that have been recorded in the Ross Sea – Crabeater , Weddell , Leopard , Ross (first described during the James Clark Ross’s expedition) and Southern Elephant Seal. And I need you to vote for me and send me to Antarctica, so I could write wildlife blogs on Adélie Penguins and Leopard Seals.
