Why is it always open season on children as long as you're teaching them about mainstream beliefs, regardless of how ethically contradictory they may be? I don't tell anyone it's okay to take the milk that was meant for someone's child, and I don't tell a hen I love her and want her to roam free as long as she produces eggs for me.

If a genetically engineered animal’s legs periodically fell off, would not its legs be more like a product of an animal (analogous to eggs) than a part of the animal? These people abstain from eggs and dairy products the production of which involves suffering for the animals. Would the blood be analogous to milk or eggs?

All these would have to be tagged if the National Animal Identification System becomes mandatory, and for no purpose, because none of my animals will be sold overseas for food. I expect that the industry groups would like to put my farmer friends out of business with the costs and hassles of tagging their animals, to eliminate competition.

It required a bit of an ethical adjustment. They made scrambled eggs for the bait birds each morning and fed them special premium mealworms to help them ward off the cold of the mountain and the stress of their daily grid.
