It is now very hot and dry inland and the temperature does not drop much at night, so you go to bed early and get up early like the animals and birds. There were several Masked Lapwings and Black-winged Stilt that appeared to be breeding and also Black-fronted Dotterel. A bit further from town we soon added Wandering Whistling Ducks and Magpie Geese to the list, but no longer were there a handful of birds. Magpie Geese. Royal Spoonbill and Australian Pelicans.
