I see people taming minks and using them as work animals for hunting rats and mice. My neighbours empty shed was taken over my a pine marten. It'll be having babies soon. Can I keep one and domesticate or tame it enough to be a good pet? Can I do this with a pine marten? Why or why not?

I want to trap a mouse that lives in my house and keep it as a pet. Otherwise it takes its chances out in the field. What do you all think?

My dog is a livestock guardian breed so when she saw the mouse I just said to leave it and now it walks right past her too she ignores it like the spiders, I made sure she was well trained. Dad has been feeding it cheese so they're tight I think it watches aircrash investigations with him on TV.
