Rehabbers are very responsive, although constantly living under the gun makes us sometimes vent about species that aren’t necessarily the ones in question. If you see a raccoon during the day, it must have rabies! Raccoons are nocturnal, which means they are normally active at night. The same goes for raccoons.

And if a feral cat colony is near an endangered species, the colony should be eliminated. I have a dog, cats (domestic and feral), birds raccoons, hawks, owls, coyotes, foxes, bunnies and mice…they all share the yard and the woods. We see several different types of species. And they tend to love individual cats.
