After writing this last sentence, I looked up the species in the HBW and found the sentence “Song poorly documented” in the appropriate section, while with regard to calls, the description is that “call is a two-note raspy nasal ‘ryeeh-reh’”. The Hair-crested Drongo is a bit more common here.

The adults of most species will still care for the chicks no matter how much you touch them. That’s an old wives’ tale that says bird won’t take care of a baby bird with a human smell on it–not true at all. If you cannot find the nest or it’s too destroyed, do not try and raise a chick this young.
