We also saw a leopard, but it was the A to Z that sticks in the mind. Incidentally, encounters with both aardvarks and zorillas are rare – it’s much easier to see lions and leopards. I viewed them at dusk, through a telescope, from a ridge overlooking the area they were hunting.

Snow leopards aren't actually leopards, they are actually more closely related to tigers than actual leopards hence why people usually say lions, tigers, jaguars, leopards, AND snow leopards when identifying the panthera genus. •

It took most of the rest of the day, but finally at around 5 we found the pack literally on the southern fenceline of the reserve, deep inside the hunting concession that made up the bottom of the park. It was Falakhe, who had dragged himself twenty kilometers on two broken legs past Hyaenas, Lions, Leopards and jackals.
