Before I was born, it used to be a rare breeding species in mountainous areas south of Belgrade, but became extinct after the 1960s due to intensive poisoning of wolves. There’s an eagle… a White-tailed Eagle , a relatively common and numerous breeding species of riparian forests along large water courses and fishponds.

The ones who would last until the very end would be lions , tigers bears, eagles and wolves. The main strategy for horses is organisation. Horses live in groups. So they can look out for each other. Not to mention their speed. They have speed,size, power everything. What do you think?

The park did have a pack of African Wild Dogs, or Painted Wolves, the species I had gone to Africa to see. Out in the park treats like Black-breasted Snake-eagles , Lemon-breasted Canaries, African Cuckoo-hawks, Pink Twinspots, Southern Black T**s, Martial Eagles and Black-bellied Bustards were a small selection of the treats I saw.

About 40 minutes outside of Anchorage, and only a bare 20 minutes from my friends’ place in Eagle River, we visited the Eagle River Nature Center to try to pick up a few of the other northern specialties I was interested in. Where the nearby military base has a pack of wolves on it. Fortunately, mountains don’t move.
