So my dog is 10. She’d stand there and pee down her leg right in front of us, couldn’t control her bowels or bladder. I ended up taking her to the vet thinking it was an anxiety issue. Within a few days of losing Sasha, our other dogs behavior got really bad out of nowhere. Well my dog decided to eat the fan cord today.

At an NYC puppy shelter a few weeks ago, my mind was just about made up when I met Chester – The cutest Lab puppy I’d ever seen. His large pouty eyes, silky fur-coat, and silly little paws on which he fumbled all over the hay-covered kennel, lured me in like a dog to a bone. Don’t let the dog eat your homework.

Apparently a man who seemed completely unfit was trying to give him away and while she couldn’t keep the dog, she wanted to put him in a better situation. I can’t put him in my home because I already have a dog and a cat. Another friend took him home for the night, where he apparently had a seizure.

Owen County Friends of Animals (KY) is a non-profit organization that fosters and seeks adoptions for the dogs picked up by their local dog warden. Dogs they can not place in foster care or find adoptive homes for are euthanized after 14 days by county ordinance. Their shelter is full.
