Note the short legs, stout body and white rump and tail I see Muntjac on virtually every birding (or dog-walking) outing, as these small Asian deer are now very numerous around my home in the Suffolk Brecks. He complained they were eating the grass he wanted for his horses. and Mountain Hares in Scotland and Scandinavia.

They were nice enough to send us personalized frames for our dog and bird. Another thing we love about Etched In My Heart is that they donate part of their proceeds to The PetSave Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by Bona Tucker in June 2000 as a rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption resource for domestic rabbits, cats and dogs.

Naturalists examining old nests have identified raccoon, opossum, dog, fox squirrel, red squirrel, rabbit, horse, cow, cat, mouse, woodchuck, and even human hair in titmouse nests.

Any type of pet is game, be it dog, cat, horse, ferret, rabbit, etc. I mostly paint dogs but I also do cats, horses, ferrets, and other small critters and birds. The custom portraits are painted in acrylic on a gallery style wrapped canvas.

They took dogs to Australia, chickens across the Pacific, rabbits to England, horses to the New World, and then brought potatoes back. It should surprise no one that someone brought horses, or goats, or chickens. Rabbits are still an agricultural pest. In many ways, that is exactly what happened. But hedgehogs?

Currently, A Chance for Bliss sanctuary is home to 96 residents including 25 horses, 22 dogs, 8 goats, 7 pot belly pigs , 4 sheep, 2 steers, 5 ducks, 5 geese, 5 cockatiels, 4 rabbits, 3 chickens, 3 cats, 1 turkey, a one-winged pigeon, Hines, and a turtle, Bart. The oldest dog, Max, is 17, while the oldest horse, Prince is 36.

ANIMAL shelters are searching for the owners of hundreds of dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and other pets displaced by fires. Pets have been displaced as well as their owners in the recent wildfires. Shelter workers fear many owners may have assumed their animals died or they could be looking for them in the wrong places.
