I found my Guinea pig unresponsive this morning. I took him indoors to show to my dog and cat which had bonded with him. He was freezing cold, his limbs were stiff but not his body. His eyes were milky. He has no partner, he was somehow happier after his brother passed away.

but did experiment on mice and guinea pigs. Interesting that many of the grants this place gets specifically say they can't experiment on any domesticated animals (cats and dogs I guess.). There was a poster in the lunch room with four cute animals (a dog, cat, rabbit and something else.) It was a rather grim place.

All companion animals including dogs, cats, hamsters, mice, rats, chinchillas, guinea pigs, birds, snakes, and lizards would be considered as pets. Pet sales would be banned altogether, except for the sale of pet fish. If it passes, San Francisco residents would have to go to a shelter or rescue group to adopt an animal.

I got my first pets, mice and guinea pigs, when I was 8. I didn’t get my first dog until I was 20, but since then I have been making up for lost time. Today I own 40 outdoor dogs and two more who live indoors! Start with easier pets – Many people don’t want to start with the responsibility of a dog or cat.

I had no idea what this little dog would mean to our family, the only thing I did know was that she was meant to be ours, and she was going to make sure that happened. A self proclaimed therapy dog, she would follow him everywhere. I didn’t know it when I first saw those big, black, eyes staring back at me.

Huntingdon used mostly mice and rats , but also some dogs, monkeys, fish and guinea pigs , in its research in New Jersey. The company had been a target of animal activists since video footage surfaced on television in the 1990s depicting animal abuse at its laboratory in the United Kingdom.
