Thave a friend who is working for a NGO that wants to combine emotional intelligence courses/ therapy with animals. Basically when these courses are being held, there will be also animals that day at the office (dogs, cats, small animals from local shelter). It is intended for b2b, so these courses are for employees.

So for a long time now I've been feeling unwell, never once had I found a healthy coping mechanism but I think spending more times with animals could help, I've always loved them, my cat has supported me emotionally more than anyone just by her presence. I feel safe with animals. Any advice?

All I know is that the majority of vegetarians, ex-vegetarians, animal rights supporters, animal rescuers, animal shelter volunteers, and feral cat colony stewards that I know are women. And I find that in conversations, women are more likely to listen and think about what I say than men, who often brush me off as an emotional female.
