Lost pets is a growing issue that teens care about. So DoSomething.org asked young people to submit ideas for reuniting pets with their owners. Sharleen D from Arcadia, CA plans to take pictures of all the lost pets at her local animal shelter and make an album on facebook and share it with her friends.

Komen for the Cure and will raise awareness for breast cancer through the Purina Cat Chow Connected for the Cause campaign. It’s called Pink October , and is aimed towards helping raise money for Susan G. Komen foundation.
