I’ve spent a fair bit of time on the ocean on right side of North America. Not as much as many others, certainly, but enough that the birds of the Gulf Stream and pelagic “culture”, for lack of better word, are familiar to me. Birding the Gulf Stream requires patience.

It’s September and time for birds to start their southerly journeys. Please remember to give migrating birds the space that they need. I may still develop this idea, but I’ll advance the information that the only species on his list that I commonly see here are, in order of prevalence, the Yellow-rumped , Wilson’s , Townsend’s , Black-and-White , and MacGillivray’s Warblers. The climate is pleasant year-round (it’s 74º F as I write).
