Unfortunately, my daughter, son-in-law, and daughter-in-law all work for Mexican entities that do not give them the day off, so the celebration was moved to Saturday. The Birds at Itasca State Park Are All Wet

A couple of different work-related friends of both my mother in law and father in law have cabins up north, and most of them are in the same general vicinity. For example, I-35 is linked to the Superior region and cabins in the Arrowhead, and also to this major and amazing bird refuge. Totally crazy but we had a reason.).

Birding Zion National Park in Winter

Summer is too hot, the birds are quiet in fall, and winter is too cold. Spotted Towhee , Western Bluebird , Red-breasted Nuthatch , Dark-eyed Junco , Wild Turkey , Mountain Chickadee , and Western Scrub-Jay were the most numerous species. A whole bunch of pictures of the birds found around the cabin are below. How gross is that?
