So I lowered my threshold to 500 and that worked well… for Costa Rica and South America, that is (especially Peru). Kaziranga National Park is famous for having 80% of the surviving population of the Indian Rhinoceros , as well as being the favourite park of the British royal family, whenever they visit India.

Parrots captivate me more than any other bird family. However, they do not occur evenly across their familial distribution. No discussion of Atlantic Rainforest parrots can fail to include the monotypic Blue-bellied Parrot , one of the most unique parrots in the Americas. I am a self-proclaimed psittacophile.

I’m focusing on Turkey Vultures here because they are undoubtedly the species most birders in North America (the home of 10kB) are most familiar with, but the name vulture applies to birds found around the globe.
