We found some very simple and nice cabañas outside of town and spent the night by a fireplace talking about birds to some local people. This was followed by a couple of trucks and motorcycles that drove past the cabañas from the town to their small farms to milk the cows.

All winter long, large mixed flocks of crows stream over my home on their way from their downtown roosts out to feed in the farm fields outside of the city. Old Crow is named not for the bird, but for Dr. James C. It’s all very inevitable, really. or “uh-huh!”
