I was going to change Animal Person to Vegan Atheist 40+ Parenting and come back to blogging. Then there's the instructional video sent in by a viewer teaching us how to make chicken cutlets. Hal Herzog writes about how many people who say they are vegetarians will also say they ate meat within the last 24 hours.

As an aside, people who love to eat meat should also watch educational videos like these. Unfortunately, there are way more of them than there are vegetarians and vegans. It's a 5-minute film about conditions for pigs in the UK. Produced by Compassion in World Farming. They need to take responsibility and learn about the food they eat.

I have a column on my Tweetdeck (an application for ease of Twitter use on my desktop) called "vegan," where all tweets from all tweeple who mention "vegan" are listed in somewhat real time. Finally, I'm pretty sure I'm not in his demographic, but I've seen a lot of tweeting about people going vegan after watching Onision.

Nothing like this has ever done here and we are showing the first images of Spanish farms -we have previously done an investigation on Spanish slaughterhouses www.mataderos.info ), so we want to get media & society attention about it and give them a vegan message. We don't advocate "happy meat" but veganism.

I wrote about atheism, diabetes (which I do think is important and stay tuned for a video about canine diabetes and how to test blood sugar), dog food, feral cats, and of course, greyhound racing.

First, check out " The Vegan Solution: An Ideal Whose Time Has Come " over at Care2. And former vegan, Chuck Roomi, who says veganism isn't practical "For people who do not have a desire to eat exotic foods from thousands of miles away, or mechanically-formulated suplements" also warrants a response. So many things to say today.

But the ease with which we can tell our stories and post our videos must not render us incapable of moral judgment and decency. Here's my question: What about, say, videos taken inside slaughterhouses? When is violence toward an animal in a video gratuitous? They certainly depict cruelty to animals, right? What do you think?
