There are a few stray dogs in my campus and they are very friendly to students and the in-campus residents. And where I live, shelters are not easily available and I'll be leaving uni in about a year or so. So am I doing the right thing by getting them used to this? What can I do in this situation?

The practice gained wider publicity after the animal rights group PETA said earlier this month that 1 of its agents spent eight months working undercover at University of Utah research facilities.

So I live in an area where there are stray cats. I just couldn’t take it suffering in there no food no water barley shelter from the sun. Since I’ve moved here last year I have had 5 cats fixed and found homes for 9 kittens. Anyway I have 4 more that need homes. Well my neighbor is a elderly lady I never ever seen her.

With the growing awareness of pet overpopulation more and more families are choosing to adopt a shelter dog and save a life. When adopting a rescue there are added considerations on selecting the right dog for your lifestyle. Many shelters have the ability to test dogs with other dogs as well as cats.

I doubt caring for strays in Belarus is an easy task , so kudos to these people for the work they do. City Fauna and another animal welfare charity named Ehida brought around 40 pets from their shelters to the park on Sunday in an attempt to re-home them. Tags: belarus animal rights. Byalyanava said.

On May 5, 2010, I adopted a two-year-old poodle/terrier mix from our local shelter, Animal Allies. She came from another shelter as a stray, had been abused, was very skinny, and she was extremely shy and afraid of everyone. She then lies down right beside me. My name is Jan. I named her Angel.
