Finally. Jasmine the Greyhound

In an act of kindness, the police took the dog, which was a Greyhound female, to the nearby Nuneaton Warwickshire Wildlife Sanctuary, run by a man named Geoff Grewcock and known as a willing haven for Animals abandoned, orphaned or otherwise in need. We had two puppies that had been abandoned by a nearby railway line.

It was, based on a quick glance, a puppy, around 6 to 7 months old. Support Wildlife ACT in supporting them. We hadn’t been on the road long before a shout went out that a dog had been seen, and we quickly turned back, and there was my first Painted Wolf in Mkuze. It was not a pretty sight. Falakhe injured.

Winter Wanderland

After a pleasant morning with ducks, crisp snow and sunshine, we followed the wildlife trail on our way out. We returned home for a good dinner with friends, some wine and a night dreaming of raspberry coulis, puppies and ducks. Not worth a detour, but when in the vicinity, do check it out.
