I am posting this here because they had an exhibit of skinny pigs billed as “African naked mole rats.” This was the same for many other of the animals there: potbelly pigs, a sad otter, rabbits, chickens and Bengal cats. The skinny pigs had no enclosures. McCormac: wbmayor@twp.woodbridge.nj.us

Wildlife conservation is concerned with protecting wildlife at the level of species or perhaps population. Take a project to remove rats from the Californian island of Anacapa (in the Channel Islands). The island was being ravaged by rabbits that were destroying every last tree, threatening the future of three lizards and two snakes.
