Apparently , since the release of the Harry Potter series in Indonesia in the early 2000s the popularity of owls such as the Buffy Fish Owl as pets has increased, leading to more birds being caught in the wild and then sold at local bird markets. The only explanation I have for this unequal treatment is that it must be a witch hunt.
