I realize that the most humane method of treating chickens is to not kill them for food.BUT, as long as there is still a demand for their meat, PETA is advocating "Controlled-Atmosphere Killing" as an improvement over current methods of electric immobilization. Maybe it’s important to note that Turkey Vultures , in particular, were well-loved by , and even inspirational to , the people that lived here before Europeans arrived. Parker was an adult Turkey Vulture who enjoyed playing with children. His modus operandi was essentially the same wherever he’d appear: first, he’d stand next the school entrance and wait while the school bus unloaded, then he’d make his way to the playground and play “tag” with the kids.
